Las Terrazas Residential Community Saltwater Pool (Ibiza)

The Las Terrazas development in Cala Tarida (Ibiza) features a large saltwater pool with adult and children’s areas, serving its 69 apartments.

This pool is equipped with Innowater salt chlorination, control, and dosing systems, ensuring maximum water quality with minimal maintenance. This is highly recommended for a space where users are primarily on vacation.

Installation Needs

This residential community needed to address the water disinfection requirements of a large, irregularly shaped pool consisting of two interconnected areas:

  • Adult pool (deeper)
  • Children’s pool (shallow)

Both areas share the same filtration system, so it was crucial that the salt chlorination equipment was correctly sized for the water volume and prepared for intensive use.

Innowater equipment used

Given these demanding requirements, an SMC500 industrial salt chlorinator from Innowater’s SMC-H range was chosen.

Additionally, to minimize maintenance, an Innowater monitor controller was installed to monitor and manage pH and chlorine levels.
