Boadilla del Monte Municipal Pool
The Boadilla del Monte municipal pool is an indoor public pool, much more efficient and sustainable, thanks to the installation of various Innowater systems.
These systems are responsible for optimizing water disinfection, and controlling and managing its main parameters. This is complemented by its integration with the Loxone automation system.
Installation Needs
This indoor municipal facility has 2 independent pool basins:
- A semi-Olympic size pool, designed primarily for swimming practice.
- A shallow, smaller pool, aimed more at younger children.
Innowater equipment used
To meet the needs of these two pools, with independent filtration systems, the decision was made to opt for the sustainability and efficiency of salt chlorination.
In this case, two different models of Innowater salt chlorinators were chosen:
- SMC500, from the SMC-H high-capacity salt chlorinator range, for the larger pool.
- SMC100, from the SMC-M range, for the smaller pool.
In addition, two Monitor Controller units with open probe were also incorporated along with two pH pumps, to automatically control chlorine and pH levels.
To further modernize the facility, the Loxone automation system was implemented, fully compatible with Innowater equipment.
The Loxone platform not only facilitates daily pool maintenance, but also helps reduce the facility’s operational and energy costs.
Thanks to Loxone, we can monitor the status of connected equipment in real time and control parameters such as chlorine, pH and redox levels.
If any of these parameters do not have the appropriate values, the system sends immediate alerts. This allows us to take immediate action, and thus maintain the pool water in optimal conditions at all times.
