• A pH between 7.2 and 7.6 is considered neutral and is the ideal range for swimming.
• A pH below 7.2 indicates that the water is acidic, which can cause skin and eye irritation.
• A pH above 7.6 indicates alkaline water, which reduces chlorine effectiveness and can cause scaling in the pool.

NOTE: These values may vary slightly in public pools, where usage is more intensive. In this case, pH levels from 7 onwards are already considered correct.
